Language and its Origins: Moving images – The birth of Cinematic Language
In Tbilisi’s Photography and Multimedia Museum, within the framework of public lecture cycles, an event titled “Language and its Origins” took place. The first meeting, “The Birth of Cinematic Language”, was presented by philosopher Giorgi Maisuradze.
“Today we discuss how, before language emerged, humans dealt with their emotions, expressions, and experiences. We delve into theories that emerge before language and those that are the language of gestures. The search for this language has been a pursuit throughout human history,” says Giorgi Maisuradze.
Series of educational lectures take place as part of the Tbilisi Photo Festival and Multimedia Museum initiative. Another presentation, “More Images – Physiognomy,” is scheduled within the framework of public lecture cycles.
