The exhibition featuring works from the Student Sculpture Symposium has officially opened
On October 15, an exhibition featuring works created during the second Student Sculpture Symposium was opened, organized by the Tbilisi Architects and Sculptors Association. The exhibition, hosted at the M. Berdzenishvili International Cultural Center “Muza,” will run until October 18, 2024.
Supported by the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Georgia, the Student Sculpture Symposium is part of the “Sculpture Festival 2024.” Students from different universities specializing in the arts participated in the symposium.
The topic, “Innovative Sculptural Projects for Tbilisi,” brought together student sculptors, architects, and art historians, resulting in six collaborative projects. These included sculptural designs, architectural renderings, and critical art reviews, all aimed at specific locations in Tbilisi.
The “Sculpture Festival 2024” is organized by the Tbilisi Architects and Sculptors Association. In addition to the student symposium, the festival has already hosted an exhibition titled “Future Sculptors,” which showcased works by children and teenagers. The festival program also includes educational and informative lectures and discussions.
