The creative agency Leavingstone has become an official member of ICOM, one of the world’s largest networks of independent agencies
The Georgian creative agency Leavingstone is the first agency in Georgia, the Caucasus, and Eastern Europe to become an official member of ICOM.
ICOM is one of the world’s largest networks of independent agencies, encompassing creative, marketing communications, media, advertising, digital communications, and related services. It includes over 70 member agencies from more than 50 countries. The network promotes global collaboration and professional development.
According to Leavingstone representatives, this significant step will open up new opportunities for the Georgian advertising industry to collaborate with various international agencies. Georgian professionals will have the chance to participate in educational programs and compete in major brand tenders.
To mark Leavingstone’s membership in ICOM, ICOM President Emma Keenan made a special visit to Tbilisi. She noted that connecting with like-minded creative people worldwide could become an additional source of inspiration for Leavingstone.
“Our goal is not only to share experiences but also to create something together. From our first meeting with Leavingstone, we felt a strong alignment. This is the first time a Georgian agency has joined our network, and we’re very proud of that,” said Emma Keenan.
“We always aimed to become an international agency, and since 2017, we’ve taken significant steps toward this,” stated Leavingstone’s co-founder and creative director, Levan Lepsveridze. “Joining ICOM will allow us to connect with more like-minded creatives worldwide, opening up new opportunities for collaboration and joint projects. Additionally, ICOM provides us with an invaluable platform to connect with other prominent figures in marketing for the exchange of ideas and experiences.”
